Vivek Ramaswamy, the former presidential candidate running as a Republican for governor of Ohio, posted a Halloween photo of himself and his two sons on Friday. The post received a wave of xenophobic and racist replies, including one user who wrote, “I see this year Vivek went as an H1B immigrant here to steal your jobs. Very scary. Like the brown version of the Grinch.”
Always interesting how collaborators honestly think they’ll be exempt once they usher fascists into power. Vivek hasn’t read much history apparently.

Also, really, Vivek should be happy. This is literally the free speech he supposedly fought for and the sort of speech Twitter was re-engineered to proliferate.
As we all know, it was never about “free speech”, it was about “saying every racist/hateful thing without any consequences or societal pushback”. They’re actually just saying that out loud these days.
He also should be glad he could lose his cititzenship despite being born in the US.
Vivek has gotten obscenely wealthy by extolling a conservative worldview. I think be knows exactly what he’s doing, even if it is entirely self serving.
